Create Your Own Ceramic Snowman
Class Description
Let your creativity shine as you design and create your very own ceramic snowman! Over three sessions, you’ll learn how to throw the basic structure of your snowman on the pottery wheel (or handbuild the body), then trim, assemble, and decorate it with your own unique style and personality. On the first day, we’ll focus on creating the snowman’s form. On the second day, you’ll trim, build, and add decorative details. Your snowman will then need time to dry before going through its bisque firing. On the final day, you’ll glaze and/or underglaze your creation, which will then go through a final glaze firing. Once your snowman is complete and ready for pickup, you’ll be notified. All materials are included. Some pottery wheel-throwing experience is an asset, but beginners are welcome to handbuild their snowman’s body instead. Come create a one-of-a-kind winter friend to enjoy for years to come!
